network |
1.
Executive Summary
bizNet
Canada
has established a business club to
link business partners across Canada and United State. Intended
members can join the club via an online platform, no monthly
meetings necessary. All networking activities will be conducted online at our club's
membership lounge. This will save time and money. “Go to meeting at
your own convenience”
We expect growth rates of
membership to show a positive dynamics between 20% to 30% annually.
A high demand for online business network such as bizNet Canada
comes as a result of small businesses seeking new opportunities
online through business relationships.
The goal of this venture is the
operation of a business club. The company automates the whole
membership process to provide low prices and costs. Annual fee
of $50.00 per member will be collected for the purpose of research
and development of the club.
1.1
Business Opportunity
The prospect for small businesses
aiming at capturing their market shares online is getting higher
every year, and so is the cost. As more and more businesses get on
the Internet it becomes harder for potential customers and clients
to find the right company to deal with. As a result the cost of
advertising on the Internet is souring through the roof. This calls
for formation of better business networking systems such as bizNet
Canada Business Club.
The prediction is that the online
business service market is projected to remain strong and a fast
growing segment of all business activities over the next five to ten
years. A significant portion of these services will involve the
overall relationship management process between business partners.
bizNet Canada intends to become a
leading provider of business relationship management solutions that
link business partners over an integrated club platform.
The company's objective is to
create a leading national, business-to-business club platform, that
operates in cities and provinces with respect to industry-specific
markets. The company believes that it has a competitive advantage
due to the geographic expansion of its services, making possible for
small companies from every region of Canada to participate in this
program. The company will expand the business into international
markets, however, time will play a major role.
1.2 Service Description
The company plans to become a
popular business club platform to service a large number of
membership. The company believes that as the membership grows the
club members will create their own pattern of privileges and
incentives necessary to maintain club activities. Members can
contact other club members by using an online platform via club's
discussion forums.
Members will be provided with
membership cards (wallet size) bearing their names and ID numbers.
There will also be other identification materials available for
those members who need them for wall mounts or counter tops.
Members are required to provide a
basic amount of percentage discount to other members and their
referrals during business transactions. The minimum amount of
percentage discount allowable will be voted on by active club
members.
Members will be encouraged to
provide sales leads to other members.
1.3 The Request
bizNet Canada has
already invested over $75,000 to develop bizNet Canada Business
Club. We are not asking for equity partners, we only asked that
business owners and executives will join the club to form business
partnership. Partnership that will bring businesses together to
assist each other.
2. Company History
bizNet Canada was first registered
in Manitoba, Canada in 1997 and began operation as web services
company. It has since integrated many ground level business
operation modules such as consulting services for online business
and marketing.
The fiscal year of the company is
the calendar year and the life expectancy of the company is
unlimited.
3.1 Service Descriptions
This business solution is designed
to enable members of the club to use the platform to access a
nation wide network of other business customers. The idea is that
members could easily be to new business partners, products or services.
The
focus on technology will enable the club to successfully manage the
rapid growth of its membership and build scalable systems to meet
its future demands. At present, the platform can handle
approximately 50,000 members. The company is currently working on
systems capable handling up to 100,000 members to cope with future
growth.
3.2
Membership:
Business club activities will be conducted online,
membership is open to all types of businesses to join, small and medium sized
nation wide. The club's
activities are operated online and that makes possible fora wide range
of participants, whether they live in a big city in Ontario or a
small town in Yukon, whether you run a small maintenance shop or
you're a top executive of medium sized company. Being part of this
business club will expose your products and services to a vast
number of customers and clients.
3.3
Business Categories:
Businesses of the same categories can join
the club.
All business
categories are invited to join the club. There is no such thing as
one member to one business category, as it is done in many business
networking groups. Such system does not give the membership much
room to bargain for better deals. Why should a member buy goods or
services from a fellow member if he/she could get a better deal
outside the club? At this Business Club we may have five
members representing five different law firms and three members representing
three accounting firms, or five clothing stores as members in the
region of Canada. This will encourage competition within the club
resulting in excellent business deals for club members. Competition
is good for business; if you can't compete within the club
membership how can you compete city wide or province wide.
3.4
Discount Deals:
Club members will vote on minimum percentage
discount offered on business conducted among members and clients or
customers referred by another member. This issue is open for
discussion by active club members at the lounge.
3.5
Advertisement:
Advertising at the club's web pages will be reduced to
very low prices for members. Logos of member companies will be
featured at a profile pages free of charge. We also encourage members to
exchange links to their web sites with other club members for more
exposure to the marketplaces.
3.6
Travelling:
We will continue to seek travelling privileges such
discounts for hotels rooms and restaurants for our active
members.
4.1 Membership Fees
Club membership fee of
$50.00 per year will collected to help cope with research,
advertisement and development of the club.
4.2 Promotional Plan
Major promotions
will be done online at Google, MSN, and Yahoo. Some print media will
be sourced. Monthly budget of $2500 will be impacted.
